The BioHASH SDK is the standard for biometric identification that is both anonymous and privacy compliant. The biometric reference information is encrypted using a one-way cryptographic hash function making it possible to perform private biometric matching without deployment of (public) key encryption systems. In addition, any additional information such as name, ID number, card validity data, etc, can be incorporated in the hash thus linking biometric data and additional information closely together resulting in privacy compliant and strong authentication at its best.

The BioHASH SDK also complements private ‘match-on-card’ solutions by performing the private matching in the terminals or a central database rather than on the card. The additional processing power of the terminal compared to on-card processing creates best-in-class matching performance and allows for ID cards based on low-cost smartcards, memory cards or even barcodes. The SDK is available to System Integrators, partners and VARs for integration in applications ranging from health and finance schemes to e-ID programs.

The SDK comes with interfaces to all major programming languages like C, C++, and C#.
